That was supposed to be late tomorrow morning at Nitmiluk Oval but the Darwin Buffaloes have unfortunately forfeited the match, and are unable to travel down from Darwin.
Local AFL fans will know the Big River Hawks have had a troubled season with the Under 18s girls and women's premier league side both forced to withdraw from the competition.
Many believe the season is made much more difficult for local sides by being asked to travel to Darwin each week to play, with only two home games in the draw this year.
The Under 18s boys will missing out on playing in front of family and friends tomorrow but accroding to AFL NT it is not all over for the season year.
In the final match of the home and away season, the Hawks were drawn to play St Marys in Darwin.
The St Marys club has kindly agreed to play that match in Katherine so the Hawks can still have their home game.
The game will be played at Nitmiluk oval on Saturday, February 15 at 11am.
While the Hawks will not be playing finals, St Marys will go in as favourites to take out the competition, losing only one game for the year.
