Remote Housing Minister Chansey Paech announced on Tuesday morning that the tender would form part of $454m worth of remote housing working currently underway.
According to the public tender, the scope of works would include the demolition of existing housing and the construction of new and/or replacement housing over 36 months in Lajamanu, which has a population of around 700 people.

It comes after a $50m contract was awarded to Centrebuild NT to build and upgrade homes acroas the Central Australian communities of Yuendumu, Yuelamu, Laramba and Nyirripi.
Mr Paech said there were further housing announcements to come as a part of the NT Government's $2.1 billion remote housing program.
"Our unprecedented investment in remote housing, which is supported by the Australian Government, has already changed the housing landscape right across the Territory, and there's more good news to come," he said.
"Works will soon roll out in many more communities with locals included in every stage from planning and design through to construction and allocation of the housing because we're not just building better homes, we're building sustainable communities."
