The COVID outbreak in Northern Territory from the Granites Gold Mine has caused a lockdown in Darwin which started on Sunday and will continue until Friday 1pm.
It also has other towns on high alert.
The Alice Springs Show, which was due to be staged this weekend, has been cancelled.
The Katherine Show and Rodeo, which has been running for more than 50 years, has been scheduled for Friday, July 16 and Saturday, July 17.

The Katherine and District Show Society said in a statement on Tuesday that a decision would be made on the date next Monday.
"We are making our decision on if the Katherine Show should go ahead on Monday 5th July but are staying vigilant on the situation and understand that a decision may come prior to that," a statement on their website read.
"We very much hope to have a Katherine Show for you this year but want the community to remain safe.
"We thank everyone for the overwhelming support, especially in light of last year, and commend the community for their generosity."
